Bombinhas is a Brazilian municipality of the state of Santa Catarina that is located to the north coast 70km from Florianópolis and 40km from Balneário Camboriú. It is the smallest municipality of Santa Catarina with an area of 35km², and with 39 beautiful beaches with lush landscapes.
The municipality of Bombinhas was created on March 15, 1992, having been dismembered from the Municipality of Porto Belo and being constituted by the Bombinhas municipality.
The history of its colonization indicates that the Azoreans who came here founded, in 1817, the Vila Nova, today the Municipality of Porto Belo.
The city is formed by 09 districts: Bombas, Bombinhas (Center), Quatro Ilhas, Mariscal, Canto Grande, Morrinhos, Zimbros, Sertãozinho and José Amândio. The only districts of the city of Bombinhas that do not have beaches are Sertãozinho and José Amândio.
The beaches with the largest strip of sand are: Canto Grande Beach (Sea from outside), Mariscal Beach and Four Islands Beach.
In January and February are the times of the year that have more movement and concentration of Argentine tourists in the city, already the month of March greatly reduces the amount of tourists.
The beaches of this coastline have impeccable water quality, and nature is well preserved. The city has a regular infrastructure that maintains the tropical rhythm.
